Digital Food Security Atlas for Yemen

The Digital Food Security Atlas (DFSA) for Yemen is an interactive atlas permitting users to create their own maps. This innovation will be a platform for policymakers, researchers and different interested stakeholders to visualize and analyze food security indicators.

The Yemen DFSA was created by IFPRI in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MOPIC) and the Yemen Food Security Committee, with support from the European Commission and the World Bank.

To access the Yemen Digital Food Security Atlas, you can:

  1. Download the Digital Food Security Atlas as a data package. The file  is over 100MB. This package can be viewed and queried with free and easy-to-install ArcReader software, and builds on a user-friendly interface that places a collection of interactive GIS maps linked to a relational geodatabase at users’ fingertips.
  2. Order the Digital Food Security Atlas on CD-Rom; for more information, please email mmacneil@cgiar.org
