Knowledge Mapping study in the MENA region

A knowledge mapping study in each of the 10 countries participating in KariaNet was launched in the MENA regiona and the results of the studies will be posted on karianet's website in December 2011.

Objectives of the knowledge mapping study:
  1. To identify existing knowledge and organisations’ database in food security and rural enterprise development with a focus on knowledge management (KM) and knowledge sharing (KS).
  2. To identify knowledge management experts and practitioners involved in sharing and communicating knowledge and transferring technologies to small-scale farmers.
  3. To explore the existing policies and/or national strategies regulating KM-KS in rural and agricultural development.
  4. To identify the different ways of sharing and communicating the knowledge between the diverse actors to reach the small-scale farmers in rural development.
